Short version

Use Aura Calm for personal relaxation. Do not scrape sounds or redistribute them commercially. That is essentially it.

1. Acceptance

By using Aura Calm at calm.cieloweb.com or through the Android app on Google Play, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

2. What Aura Calm is

Aura Calm is a free Progressive Web App providing ambient soundscapes and guided breathing exercises for personal wellness use. It is operated by CieloWeb Studio, Langenlois, Lower Austria.

3. Permitted use

You may:

  • ✓Use Aura Calm for personal, non-commercial relaxation and wellness.
  • ✓Install it on your personal devices via the browser or Google Play.
  • ✓Cache sounds offline for your own personal use.
  • ✓Share the link to Aura Calm freely.

4. Prohibited use

You may not:

  • ✕Download, redistribute, or resell audio content from the app commercially.
  • ✕Scrape or bulk-download sounds from our API route.
  • ✕Use the app in a way that violates Freesound's content licenses.
  • ✕Reverse engineer or copy the app's source code for commercial redistribution.
  • ✕Use automated tools to access the service in a way that strains our infrastructure.

5. Audio content and licensing

Sounds in Aura Calm are sourced from the Freesound library under Creative Commons licences (primarily CC0 and CC-BY). Individual track credits are displayed in the audio player where required by the CC-BY licence. We do not claim ownership of any audio content.

If you are a sound creator and believe your work is being used incorrectly, please contact us through our contact page and we will address it promptly.

6. Availability

Aura Calm is provided free of charge and without any guarantee of uptime or availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. Sounds cached on your device will continue to work offline regardless of service status.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Aura Calm is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app is free of errors or that it will meet your specific needs. Use it at your own discretion. It is a wellness tool, not a medical device — nothing here constitutes medical advice.

8. Limitation of liability

CieloWeb Studio's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Austrian law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Aura Calm.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Austria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lower Austria, unless EU consumer protection law requires otherwise.
